Mineral market and auctions

On Magic Adventure Factions, you now control the economy. The mineral market It has dynamic prices, which rise and fall depending on what is being sold across the entire server. And with theauction Each player can put their items up for sale, either at a fixed price or to the highest bidder.

The mineral market

At the spawn point is the market stall: behind the glass, the eight minerals rotate, and at the front are signs showing the price per 64 pieces for each one, how much the price has changed, and when the new prices will take effect. Click on the merchant Ores to open the market, or use /minerali or the ‘Ores’ box in the main menu.

Each mineral has its own row: the mineral on the left, price, fluctuation and chart in the middle, and the buttons on the right. The top row sells, the one below buy, in three different quantities. With Sell all your ores Empty your inventory with a single click, and use the arrows to change pages.

How prices fluctuate

Every half hour, the market checks how much of each ore has been sold:

• a mineral sold more than usual price drop;
• one that has sold very few, if any, dates back to little by little;
• They all tend to return to their normal price, and never fall below half that price nor rise above double it.

Even every single sale immediately lowers the price slightly: anyone selling a huge load will see the price drop as they sell. As usual«, the» market learns this on its own, by observing how much the server sells over the course of several days.

Sell when the price rises, buy when it falls: timing is more important than the quantity.

Buy from the marketplace

The market only sells what players have sold: nothing comes from nothing. Every night at midnight, however, a small supply of each mineral arrives, so even with few players online, there is always something to buy. The purchase price is slightly higher than the selling price, and every purchase pushes the price up, just as a sale pushes it down.

Money is always in whole coins: if a sale is worth a few cents more, the cents are set aside and added to the next sale.

On either side of the menu you’ll find your figures (money, today’s takings and sales, and the best-selling ore) and the Today’s leaderboard: who has earned the most, and your position.

The player auction

With /ah (or the Auctions tab in the main menu) opens the auction: items for sale from all players, showing their price and time remaining. You can sort and filter them, and each item displays its name and enchantments, just as in the inventory.

If no price is specified, the two commands open a window where you can enter one; you can also sell items using the button Sell from the menu. Every item remains for sale 72 ore, and each player can have up to 10 for sale as a set. Listing items for sale is free: a fee is payable on the sale of 5%.

Offers

A bid is paid immediately. If someone bids higher, your money is refunded and you receive a notification. Each new bid must exceed the current highest bid by at least 5 per cent. And no last-minute bids: a bid placed in the final minute extends the auction by one minute.

My auctions

The Committee for Medicinal Products for Veterinary Use concluded that the vaccine has been shown to be safe and to be effective in preventing disease in poultry and could be a useful tool in controlling an outbreak of avian influenza infection. My auctions Find what you have for sale (you can collect it whenever you like) and the section To be collected. Items that have been won, have expired or have been collected go straight into your inventory if you have space; otherwise, they remain there: they never drop on the ground and never disappear. The seller is paid even if they are offline, and notifications are received the next time they log in.

A few rules to keep things tidy: you cannot sell items whilst in combat (the auction house is not a way to save your inventory from a fight), and the marketplace and auction house are closed in the event arena.
